SIX MORE UNITS SNAPPED UP AT M11 BUSINESS LINK, STANSTED!

In an otherwise slow market, business is brisk at M11 Business Link, Stansted, where more than a third of this 80,000 sq ft development has been taken up in less than six months since its completion!

Deals completed in the last month include the letting of the 2,603 sq ft Unit 3 to Neelam Rice Company, rice importers and distributors; the sale of the 2,607 sq ft Unit 16 to Sovereign Medical, suppliers of surgical prothesis; and the sale of Units 12-15 to Gamit Limited, specialist suppliers of aircraft spares and replacement parts.

Proximity to the airport has been a prime consideration for most new occupiers, especially Gamit with its aircraft related business. "Our business is expanding fast" says Director Nadeem Muhiddin. "So fast in fact, that we have bought four units outright to accommodate future growth and as an interim buy-to-let investment".

Good air and road transportation are also vital to the import business of Neelam Rice, who took advantage of the ready availability of M11 Business Link to complete a very fast deal. "We needed to move quickly to accommodate a major incoming consignment" says Manager Director Mr Haris, "and the developers, Frogmore, and their agents handled the whole operation very smoothly".

For David King, the Managing Director of Sovereign Medical, the move to M11 Business Link was a more considered one. "We’re a locally established family business, and we’ve been planning this move for over a year" he says. "These premises are an important step up for us, both in size and specification. They also represent an excellent investment."

Managing Director Steve Woodland, of founding tenant Agar Scientific, agrees "we felt comfortable with the developers, Frogmore, from the start. We found them responsive to our needs in terms of our specific fit-out requirements, and very professional throughout the whole negotiations".

Altogether, the park comprises 18 new industrial units with first floor offices. Agents Barker Storey Matthews (01223 467155) and CBRE (020 7182 2000) are marketing the remaining units which are available for sale or, alternatively, to let.
