Security Firm Takes Keys to Three Units at M11 Business Link
The powerful attraction of M11 Business Link, Stansted, as a strategic centre for businesses with a national marketplace has been demonstrated once again this week with the take up of three more units by Commend UK.
The company, which specialises in security and communication systems, has leased a 3,190 sq ft warehouse and two modern office units totalling 5,186 sq ft on the park.
Commenting on the move, Managing Director Brian Richardson says: “The first consideration for us was to bring together our sales and manufacturing arms – previously at Thaxted and Harlow – on the same site, which at M11 Business Link, a mixed use commercial development, worked really well.
“Another factor was that as a high tech company – amongst other things we manufacture intercom controls for NCR and the London Underground – the fibre optics infrastructure was up to speed, and the high specification of the buildings themselves made them impressive show places for visiting clients”.
